Nevada Wolf Pack Defeat Colorado State Rams 75-62 in Mountain West Road Victory

FORT COLLINS,Colo. – The Nevada Wolf Pack (10-3) extended their winning streak to seven games with a decisive 75-62 victory over the Colorado State Rams (9-4) on tuesday night.This win improves Nevada’s record to 2-0 in Mountain West Conference play.

The Wolf Pack showcased efficient shooting,finishing the game at 42.3% (22-for-52) from the field, 36.4% (8-for-22) from three-point range, and an extraordinary 74.2% (23-for-31) from the free-throw line. Nevada’s bench proved crucial,outscoring Colorado state’s reserves 32-10.

Tyler Rolison led all scorers with a career-high 21 points, adding five rebounds, two assists, and three steals. Chuck Bailey III contributed 15 points, marking his fourth double-digit scoring performance of the season. Vaughn Weems also had a standout performance, achieving a career-high 12 points and grabbing nine rebounds.

Nevada’s defense stifled the Rams, holding them to 37% (19-for-51) shooting 25% (6-for-24) from beyond the arc, and 62% from the free-throw line. Elijah Price was a defensive force for the Wolf Pack, recording 10 rebounds, three blocks, and two steals, helping to force 10 Colorado State turnovers.

Nevada started strong, opening the game with a 5-0 run fueled by a three-pointer from Kaleb Lowery. The Wolf Pack built an eight-point lead midway through the first half. Colorado State quickly countered with a seven-point run of their own, regaining a 57-56 advantage. Nevada closed the game strongly,pulling away in the final minutes to secure the 75-62 victory.
