New bTV Morning Block Presenters Announced

With the start of the new spring television season, bTV continues to develop both its entertainment prime-time program and its current affairs content. From February 16, the media presents the new presenters of “This Morning” – established journalists Bogomil Grozev and Yulia Manolova.

The new screen couple will welcome viewers every weekday morning from 06:00, focusing on the important events of public life, searching for answers and giving voice to the topics that matter to people’s everyday lives. Well-known segments on “This Morning” such as panel discussions, conversations with guests and commentary, editorial columns, weather information and material from reporters on significant cases, continue to be an integral part of the structure of the show.

Bogomil Grozev and Yulia Manolova are among the recognizable faces on Bulgarian television with over 20 years of professional experience. Bogomil’s remarkable television career began precisely with bTV as an economic and social reporter before joining the other private national television as a News presenter. He is also a communications expert in the field of corporate and marketing communications. Yulia Manolova has extensive television experience as an editor of a current affairs program, she has covered international news, was the host of News and morning block, author and executive producer of news and journalistic formats.

Journalists Rosen Tsvetkov and Gergana Venkova continue their active work in the bTV newsroom as presenters and reporters, engaged in special studios, formats and the media’s news broadcasts.

Bogomil Grozev began his professional career more than 25 years ago at Darik Radio, after which he moved to print media – the newspapers “Banker” and “Sega”, as well as “Tema” magazine. His television career started at bTV News, where he worked as a reporter for 7 years. There, he established his journalistic style with in-depth material, live inclusions from the scene of hot events and coverage of significant economic and social topics. Later, he joined the team of NOVA television as a host of the central program News. In his professional career, he also held the position of director of the municipal institute “Ancient Plovdiv”, where he actively works for the preservation and promotion of the cultural and historical heritage of the Old Town, the Ancient Theater, the Roman Stadium and the Episcopal Basilica of Philippopolis. He also develops activities as a film producer of the films “Return” and “Return 2”. In recent years, he has worked as a marketing director in the banking sector and as a communications expert with experience in organizing and conducting media behavior and public speaking training. Bogomil Grozev has a higher engineering education and has gone through a number of practical trainings in the field of media, PR strategies and digital marketing.

Julia Manolova’s professional career began at Eurocom-Plovdiv as a news anchor and international editor. At the Bulgarian National Television, she worked as an editor and host of “The Day Begins”, “BNT Taxi” and “Po sveta i vu nas”. After that, she became the host and editor of the news show “Newsroom” on News7. At BiT TV, he holds the position of executive producer of the news, author and host of the program “One Different Sunday”.

Her experience also includes the role of executive producer of the morning block of TV Europe. Before joining bTV, Julia Manolova worked as a producer and presenter of the journalistic show “Crossroads” on NOVA television, as well as as a presenter of News on NOVA NEWS. Julia Manolova graduated in international economic relations and journalism at Plovdiv University “Paisiy Hilendarski”. She went through international media training in Bulgaria and Germany, as well as a six-month internship at the American television channel Fox.
