Dacia Striker Debuts in Paris with Prices Starting Under 25,000 Euros
Dacia unveiled its new C-segment crossover, the Striker, at the 91st Paris Motor Show, entering the market with a starting price below 25,000 euros, Economedia reported. Built at the Renault plant in Bursa, Turkey, the vehicle merges design elements from SUVs, estate cars, and hatchbacks. Measuring 4,62 meters in length, the Striker surpasses both the Duster and the Bigster in size while offering a trunk capacity of approximately 600 liters.
The pricing strategy places the new model directly between existing Duster and Bigster offerings. In Romania, base prices start at 21,900 euros (including VAT) for the Striker Mild Hybrid G 140 variant, according to HotNews. Higher trims scale upward, with the Hybrid 155 priced at 27,000 euros and the Hybrid 150 4×4 starting at 28,800 euros. The top-tier Hybrid 150 4×4 Extreme trim reaches 30,750 euros. Meanwhile, French market pricing begins at 23,490 euros, Euronews Romania reported.
Powertrain Options and Four Distinct Trim Levels
Buyers can choose from three hybrid motorizations and four trim variants named Essential, Expression, Extreme, and Journey. The entry-level Essential package includes 17-inch steel wheels, roof bars, a 10.1-inch central media display with smartphone replication, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, manual air conditioning, rear parking sensors with a camera, and electric windows all around. Stepping up to Expression adds 17-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, an electronic parking brake with Autohold, a high center console with an armrest, power-folding mirrors, and rear air vents with dual USB ports.

The rugged Extreme trim introduces 18-inch alloy wheels, Copper Brown exterior and interior accents, a fixed panoramic glass roof, a hands-free card, washable TEP MicroCloud upholstery, rubber floor mats, connected navigation via the Media Nav Live system, a six-speaker Arkamys 3D sound system, and hill descent control. The comfort-focused Journey trim shares the 18-inch alloy wheels and Arkamys sound system while swapping in a hands-free electric tailgate, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, heated front seats and steering wheel, and a smartphone wireless charger. Dacia offers seven exterior body colors, featuring two new additions named Frost Green and Cosmic Blue.
Market Positioning Against the Skoda Octavia Combi
Positioned as a C-segment contender, the Striker takes aim at established estate models like the Skoda Octavia Combi. French automotive publication L’Argus highlighted the vehicle’s dual identity, noting its 19 cm ground clearance—and 20 cm for the 4×4 variant—which bridges the gap between traditional estate utility and SUV styling. While the Skoda Octavia Combi measures 4,70 meters long with a lower 14 cm ground clearance, the Dacia alternative adopts sharper angular lines and prominent bumpers.

Mihai Bordeanu, Managing Director of Dacia Romania, confirmed to Profit.ro that order books for the Striker open in mid-October 2026, with customer deliveries scheduled toward the end of the year.
