Man Arrested After Allegedly Stopping Traffic on US 151 in Dodge County
BEAVER DAM, Wis. — A Middleton man is facing multiple charges after allegedly stopping traffic on US Highway 151 and attempting to solicit money from drivers on Sunday, March 15, 2026. The incident culminated in a police chase that ended in Juneau.
Erratic Driving and Initial Reports
The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office received reports shortly before midnight of a person driving erratically on US Highway 151 CBS 58. The driver, later identified as 36-year-aged William McCann of Middleton, reportedly chased another vehicle and intentionally blocked its path, forcing it to stop on the highway.
Attempted Solicitation and Police Response
