Nghe An Province, Vietnam – A recent training launch ceremony in Nghe An Province featured a spectacular display of martial arts and combat skills by Vietnamese military and border guard units, highlighting the nation’s commitment to developing a more modernized and elite fighting force.
Demonstration of Martial Arts Prowess
The program commenced with a demonstration by officers and soldiers from the Reconnaissance Mechanized Company of the Nghe Anseong Military Headquarters Staff Department. They executed 45 dagger movements and 38 hand-to-hand combat movements with precision and power, creating an intimidating atmosphere. The synchronized performance underscored the rigorous training and discipline of the unit.
Border Guard Units Display Specialized Skills
Provincial border guards followed with a joint demonstration of daggers and nunchucks, showcasing flexible and colorful movements. Their performance included four-way and eight-way attacks, emphasizing initiative, sharpness, and responsiveness to real-world scenarios related to border security. Members of the Nghe An Province border guard’s “Steel Rose” unit further demonstrated martial arts using nunchucks.
Mobile Police Regiment Exhibits Tonfa Techniques
Soldiers from the North Korea-China Mobile Police Regiment presented a tonfa martial arts demonstration, characterized by swift, powerful, and precise movements. The display highlighted skilled technique, close cooperation, and a strong fighting spirit.
Realistic Combat Scenarios
The ceremony included scenarios simulating the fight against cross-border human trafficking, as well as 1v3 and 2v5 duel training. These exercises vividly recreated the wit and courage of officers and soldiers, demonstrating effective maneuvering, evasive movements, and suspect apprehension techniques.
Qigong and Physical Strength Demonstrations
A qigong demonstration captivated the audience, featuring feats of physical strength such as breaking tiles with arms, lying on a chair, lying on a spiked table, lying on a sword stand, breaking concrete with broken glass, and pushing a car with the neck. These demonstrations showcased the inner strength, unwavering will, and rigorous training of the participating officers, and soldiers.
Joint Performance by Border Guard Command
Major Nguyen Anh Tuan and his wife, Major Hoang Hoa My, from the Nghe An Border Guard Command, delivered an impressive performance, lying on broken glass and breaking concrete on a bed of nails.
