Ottawa Senators defenseman Nick Jensen will undergo knee surgery to repair a torn meniscus, sidelining him for at least six weeks, according to TSN’s Bruce Garrioch. [1] The injury has kept the 35-year-old defenseman out of action since Wednesday, when he was initially listed as day-to-day with a lower-body injury.
Jensen’s Performance and Injury History
In 61 games this season, Jensen has recorded four goals, 13 assists, and 65 blocked shots. [1] He joined the Senators in July 2024 after being acquired from the Washington Capitals. [1] In his first season with Ottawa (2024-2025), Jensen tallied three goals and 21 points across 71 games.

Sanderson Expected Back Next Week
