Beginning September 17, the streams will broadcast on Niconico Live, pairing the rarely seen historical episodes with live commentary from the gaming-focused creators.
What Is Street Fighter USA?
Produced in the United States during the 1990s, the 26-episode Street Fighter USA animated series remained largely unavailable in Japan for decades, lacking both domestic television broadcasts and home video releases. That status shifted in 2021 when video streaming platforms finally added the title to their catalogs, effectively turning it into a lost media discovery for modern audiences. Because of the series’ historical obscurity in Japan, all four participating Nijisanji streamers will approach the viewing completely blind, with no prior knowledge of the plot or production. Niconico Live plans to display the animation feed side-by-side with the VTubers’ real-time video reactions on a single screen.

To celebrate the broadcast rollout, the official Niconico VTuber X account launched a follow-and-repost campaign offering exclusive prizes to viewers.
