The Pragmata demo for consoles is available to download. This is how the Nintendo Switch 2 version compares to the competition.

As part of the Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase Capcom released the demo version of Pragmata for consoles – including the Nintendo eShop for the Nintendo Switch 2. While the general tenor is enthusiastic about the Nintendo Switch 2 version, the YouTube channel ElAnalistaDeBits took a closer look at the console demos and shared the technical details in a video.

Nintendo Switch 2 achieves up to 60 FPS

According to the video, Pragmata’s demo runs at a fairly consistent rate 60 Frames per Second on the Nintendo Switch 2. With more activity on the screen, the portable version still achieves around 45 frames per second. Compared to the Xbox Series S version, the Nintendo Switch 2 version renders at a slightly lower resolution, but this is compensated for by the upscaling and thus ensures better overall results on the portable console – especially when it comes to the quality of shadows.

The PlayStation 5 version reaches 60 frames per second in both performance mode, with sacrifices in lighting and hair quality, and in graphics mode, making it the most technically potent platform. Of course, it remains to be seen to what extent the demo will be informative about the technical condition of Pragmata when it launches on April 24th. In general, the Nintendo Switch 2 version, at least the demo, doesn’t seem to have to hide from the competition. You can watch the complete technology and graphics comparison from Pragmata here:
