Nippon Marathon 2: Daijoubu Prepares for Public Debut at Bristol VGE
Onion Soup Interactive is set to unveil the first playable demo of Nippon Marathon 2: Daijoubu at the Bristol Video Games Expo (VGE) on Saturday, February 28, 2026. This marks the game’s first public appearance, offering attendees a hands-on experience with the latest build.
What to Expect at the Demo
Players attending VGE will have the opportunity to explore latest courses, revisit familiar favorites, and experience the signature slapstick athleticism and chaotic gameplay that defines the Nippon Marathon series. The demo will be available at the DEBUG booth, where the development team will be present to gather feedback and discuss future development plans.
The demo features include:
- Two new stages, including the exclusive Shika Shika Deer Town, complete with the Ceiling Licker boss.
- Fruit weapons and bizarre obstacles to use against opponents.
- Create-a-Contestant, Photo Mode, podium poses, and secret dances for customization and expression.
