Jean-François Maurange Leads “United for Bellevigne” in Upcoming Municipal Elections

Jean-François Maurange, the designated successor to outgoing mayor Monique Martinot, is leading the “United for Bellevigne” list in the upcoming municipal elections in Bellevigne, France. The list presents a renewed team with an average age of 45, aiming to bring fresh perspectives to the community.

A New Generation Takes the Reins

Monique Martinot, who is not seeking re-election, has endorsed Jean-François Maurange as her successor. Maurange, 62, has been a council member in Nonaville since 2001 and currently serves as the 3rd deputy, overseeing public works, buildings, and cemeteries. He also has a long-standing involvement with local organizations, including serving as president of the festival committee and secretary of the hunting society.

Experienced Team with New Faces

Maurange’s list includes nine current team members: Viviane Rippe, Gaëlle Arnaud, Laure Morlet, Yann Grandveau, Isabelle Meunier, Enrick Boidron, Christelle Méchain, Bruno Marchadier, and Anne-Marie Gruet. He intends to rely on their experience as he manages municipal affairs.

The positions of deputy are slated to be filled by Enrick Boidron, Laure Morlet, Christelle Méchain, and Gaëlle Arnaud, with Adrien Touraine designated as a delegated advisor. The list also includes ten newcomers from various villages within Bellevigne.

Key Priorities for Bellevigne

The “United for Bellevigne” list has outlined key priorities, including the completion of the renovation of the Malaville school and the maintenance of the town’s extensive road network – 80 km, making it the second largest in the Grand Cognac agglomeration after Val-de-Cognac.
