North Jakarta Police launched a targeted outreach campaign on September 25, 2026, urging vocational students to avoid street brawls, illegal demonstrations, and narcotics. North Jakarta Police Chief Senior Superintendent Adhe Hariadi delivered the warnings during the Roadshow Jakarta Damai Pelajar Bersatu, Tawuran Berlalu program hosted at SMK Walang Jaya vocational high school in Koja.

Addressing Student Recruitment in Protests

Authorities warned that outside agitators routinely target minors to swell the ranks of street demonstrations. Chief Adhe Hariadi stated that anarchic groups deliberately recruit students to participate in rallies that risk erupting into violence. Police urged parents and educators to maintain active oversight of adolescents to counter these recruitment efforts and protect their academic futures.

Narcotics Prevention and Security Measures

To combat drug abuse among adolescents, the North Jakarta Metropolitan Sub-regional Police announced plans to conduct random urine tests across regional schools. Officials framed the drug testing as a preventative measure aimed at halting narcotics distribution within educational environments. Faculty members and students were also encouraged to utilize the emergency 110 hotline to report potential security threats or criminal activities directly to law enforcement.
