Nothing is launching its Headphone (1) Pro over-ear headphones in mid-October 2026, paired with the announcement of BTS member V as the brand’s new global ambassador. The audio device features a triple-driver architecture, real-time adaptive noise cancellation powered by 10 microphones, and a battery life reaching up to 68 hours, according to official company announcements reported by Antara.
Audio Architecture and Specifications
The Headphone (1) Pro introduces a triple-driver setup designed to deliver an ultra-wide frequency range from 20 Hz to 40 kHz. The acoustic system combines a 40 mm dynamic driver handling bass frequencies, a precision dynamic driver, and an xMEMS driver featuring a silicon diaphragm dedicated to treble reproduction.
The hardware also supports Dynamic Spatial Audio with head tracking, offering listeners preset modes including Standard, Live House, Club, Concert Hall, and a specialized setting modeled after Studio B at Metropolis Studios. Connectivity is driven by Bluetooth 6.1, supporting AAC, SBC, LDAC, and LC3 codecs alongside Google Fast Pair, Microsoft Swift Pair, Apple instant setup, dual connectivity, low-latency mode, and auto-wear detection.
Noise Cancellation and Build Quality
To isolate external sound, Nothing equips the over-ear device with an Adaptive Noise Cancellation system driven by 10 total microphones that operate in real-time, reducing ambient noise by up to 46 dB. Antara notes that the physical build incorporates an aluminum and titanium alloy body accented with Panda Glass 9H on specific surfaces.
Weighing 327 grams, the headphones carry an IP52 rating for dust and water splash resistance. Comfort adjustments include thicker, softer ear cushions, a headband widened by 10% compared to the Headphone (1), and flexible ear cups.
Battery Performance and Pricing
Power is supplied by a 1,060 mAh battery that yields up to 30 hours of playback with active noise cancellation enabled, or up to 68 hours with ANC deactivated. The device supports fast charging via USB-C and ships with a padded carrying case in the retail box.
The Headphone (1) Pro launches in Black and White color options with a retail price of USD 399 (approximately Rp 7,2 million), heading to the Indonesian market in mid-October 2026.
Partnership With V of BTS
Alongside the hardware reveal, Nothing named Kim Taehyung—known globally as V from the K-pop group BTS—as its newest Global Brand Ambassador.
"V has a fearless instinct for experimentation. He constantly explores different sounds and styles, following his creative instincts rather than sticking to tested formulas," said Nothing Co-Founder and CEO Carl Pei, as translated from Antara’s report. "That is the spirit we want to bring through Headphone (1) Pro."
V echoed that sentiment in official remarks provided by the company, stating that the headphones align closely with his artistic process. "Headphone (1) Pro feels so close to the way I create, with a design born from creative expression," V said. This appointment follows Nothing’s earlier 2026 collaboration with musician Charli xcx, who was named Global Brand Ambassador and shareholder, continuing the brand’s strategy of partnering with prominent cultural figures.
