DOJ Defends Removal of Epstein Files, Including photo with Trump
US Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche defended teh Department of Justice’s decision to remove several files related to the case of sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein from its public website, including a photograph featuring US President Donald trump, one day after their publication.
Blanche explained that the documents were removed because they included images of women, and concerns were raised about their potential exposure following publication. When asked directly if the withdrawal stemmed from judicial instructions or was related to Trump’s presence in the image, the official denied that interpretation. He added that the photo and other documents will be republished after a review aimed at protecting potential victims who may appear in them.
