This precise timing minimizes light persistence and significantly reduces motion blur.

Nvidia claims G-Sync Pulsar can achieve a “perceived effective motion clarity in excess of 1,000Hz.” This is achieved through the rapid pulsing of the backlight, giving the technology its “Pulsar” name. The company states that gaming at 250 FPS on a 1,000Hz Pulsar-enabled display will deliver motion clarity equivalent to a 1,000Hz refresh rate, representing a fourfold improvement over standard refresh rates. Essentially, the technology aims to make motion appear significantly sharper and more defined.

Automatic Calibration for Optimal Visuals
