NXT Roster Arrives in Houston Despite Severe Weather, Gears Up for CW Network Broadcast
The WWE NXT roster successfully arrived in Houston, Texas, on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, despite significant travel disruptions caused by severe thunderstorms and tornadoes across the Southeastern United States. The arrival ensures tonight’s live broadcast on the CW Network will proceed as scheduled.
Travel Challenges Overcome
According to PWInsider.com, nearly all scheduled talent and staff made it to Houston in time for the present. “Just about everyone one would expect to be in town for the taping are indeed in Houston,” PWInsider reported. “It was an extremely rough travel day, but the crew made it to Texas.”
The travel issues began on Monday when strong thunderstorms and tornadoes impacted several areas across the Southeast. A ground stoppage at Orlando International Airport, where many NXT roster members were set to depart, caused flights to be delayed for more than four hours, creating uncertainty about timely arrival for the live broadcast.
WWE closely monitored the situation and worked to ensure the roster reached Houston with minimal impact to the scheduled show.
Tonight’s NXT Lineup
Tonight’s episode of NXT will air live from the 713 Music Hall in Houston on the CW Network. The event is a key stop in the build-up to Stand & Deliver 2026, which takes place on April 4 in St. Louis, Missouri.

Looking Ahead to Stand & Deliver

The triple threat match for the NXT Women’s Championship is expected to be a pivotal contest leading into the premium live event. KhelNow reports that tonight’s show will also feature an appreciation night for NXT announcer Booker T.
