Oasis Brothers Unite for ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ Documentary Premiere

Oasis members Noel and Liam Gallagher have united for their first joint interview in over 20 years, featuring prominently in the official trailer for the upcoming Disney documentary Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger, which is set for a worldwide cinematic release on September 11, 2026.

Documentary Release and Creative Team

Directed by Will Lovelace and Dylan Southern with a script by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight, the documentary chronicles the band’s 2025 reunion tour, titled Oasis Live ’25. Fandango has made advance tickets available for purchase, and the film will also stream on Hulu and Disney+ in the United States later this year. The project provides backstage, rehearsal, and onstage access, capturing the emotional atmosphere surrounding the group’s 41-date global comeback tour.

Brothers on Stage Reunion and Tensions

The documentary explores the initial hesitation surrounding the brothers’ reconciliation following a 17-year hiatus caused by backstage disputes and the band’s 2009 breakup in Paris. In the newly released trailer, Noel Gallagher reflects on the uncertainty of the reunion, asking, “will it fall apart again?” Noel noted that he initially doubted seeing himself on stage alongside his brother again, admitting that he was unprepared for the intense public outpouring of emotion. Liam Gallagher shared a similarly optimistic perspective in the trailer, stating, “We have got a chance to change the narrative of the band.”

Reconciliation and Current Relationship

The Gallagher brothers describe a renewed sense of friendship and professional mutual respect. Noel noted that the previous power struggles and minor frictions have dissipated, describing Liam as “delightful” and praising his frontman capabilities. Liam echoed the sentiment, expressing gladness at seeing Noel performing his own songs again. The documentary captures pivotal moments from the 2025 tour, tracking the progression from early rehearsal apprehension—where Noel noted his difficulty with forgiveness—to moments of visible camaraderie on stage in cities including Cardiff and Dublin.
