Oasis Releases Live ‘Acquiesce’ From Wembley Stadium for War Child ‘Aid (2)’ Album

Oasis has contributed a live version of their 1998 B-side “Acquiesce” to the War Child charity album, HELP(2), set for release on Friday, March 6, 2026. The track, recorded on September 28, 2025, at Wembley Stadium during the final night of the band’s seven-reveal run, marks the first physical release of a live recording from their 2025 reunion tour. NME and Rolling Stone both reported on the contribution.

Exclusive Release Details

“Acquiesce (Live from Wembley Stadium, 28 September ‘25)” will be available as a standalone 7” single enclosed within the gatefold of the vinyl edition of HELP(2), and as a hidden track on the double CD version. It will also be available to stream on March 6th. Oasisinet.com confirmed these release details.

A Legacy of Support for War Child

This isn’t the first time Oasis has supported War Child. The band’s 1995 song “Fade Away” opened the original HELP album, which also featured contributions from artists like Blur, Paul McCartney, and Radiohead. According to NME, the 1995 album had a “huge effect for the charity,” allowing it to expand its operations and deliver aid to areas in conflict, such as Sarajevo.

HELP(2) Lineup and Purpose

HELP(2) aims to raise money and awareness for children affected by war and conflict. Alongside Oasis, the album features contributions from a diverse range of artists, including Olivia Rodrigo, Arctic Monkeys, Pulp, Sampha, and Wet Leg. Beyond the Grooves highlighted the impressive lineup.

Recording Process

The album was primarily recorded during one week last November at Abbey Road Studios in London with Arctic Monkeys/Gorillaz producer James Ford. Rolling Stone provided details on the recording process.
