Odessa Under Attack: Drone Strikes Cause Damage and Injuries
Odessa, Ukraine, came under attack by enemy drones on the night of February 21, 2026, resulting in damage to infrastructure, residential buildings, and an educational institution. One person was injured in the strikes, officials reported.
The Head of the Odessa City Military Administration, Sergei Lysak, announced the attack via social networks, detailing the damage caused by the drone strikes. The air raid warning was in effect from 23:52 to 1:37.
Details of the Attack
According to Lysak, the attack caused damage to infrastructure, four residential buildings in different areas of the city, and one educational institution.
In a morning update, Lysak reported that a man was injured as a result of the attack. He was hospitalized with burns and is receiving medical attention. Operational headquarters have been deployed to provide assistance to those affected.
“A man was injured. He was hospitalized with burns and is receiving all the necessary assistance,” Lysak stated. “Operational headquarters have been deployed. People are getting all the aid they necessitate.”
