Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy Rebrands as Odin’s Lair Comics and Fantasy & The Tabletop Tavern
Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy is undergoing a significant transformation, rebranding as Odin’s Lair Comics and Fantasy & The Tabletop Tavern, effective April 25. The change reflects the store’s core identity as a hub for comics, games and tabletop roleplaying, and builds upon its existing in-house restaurant.
A New Chapter for a Longstanding Business
Founded by Robert and Christine Prohl as an expansion of Dragon’s Lair Comics, the store specializes in comics, gaming, and collectibles. Located on Hwy. 249 in Houston, Texas, Odin’s Lair aims to provide a unique experience for hobbyists.
What Odin’s Lair Offers
Odin’s Lair boasts an impressive inventory of board games, with approximately 1,000-1,500 titles in stock at any given time. According to Robert Prohl, the store offers unique board games not commonly found in larger retail chains. Community Impact reports that the business also features The Tabletop Tavern, a restaurant serving draft beer, wine, coffee, burgers, pizza, and chicken strips.
