Ohio High School Wrestling State Tournament: Live Updates and Results

COLUMBUS – The Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) state wrestling tournament is underway at Value City Arena, running from Friday, March 13 through Sunday, March 15 . Division I Highlights – March 13, 2026

Jacob Earnest (Wadsworth) vs. Cody Bendau (Highland)

Jacob Earnest of Wadsworth defeated Cody Bendau of Highland by major decision, 10-1. After a scoreless first period, Earnest escaped in the second and secured a takedown shortly after, leading 4-0. Bendau escaped, but Earnest responded with another takedown to extend his lead to 7-1 after two periods. Another takedown sealed the victory for Earnest.

Mason Rohr (Perry) vs. Jacob Kiehl (St. Edward)

Mason Rohr of Perry defeated Jacob Kiehl of St. Edward by decision, 8-3. Kiehl took down Rohr early, leading 3-1 after the first period. Rohr escaped to start the second and then secured a takedown, taking a 5-3 lead into the third. Rohr continued his momentum with another takedown in the third, riding out the period to secure the win.

Damian Kemble (Southeast) vs. Nathan Dentz (Buckeye Local)

Damian Kemble of Southeast defeated Nathan Dentz of Buckeye Local by technical fall, 21-5. Kemble showcased his skill with a strong performance, scoring 15 points in the third period.
