Young Man Remains Critically Ill Following Tyrone Road Collision

A young man is in critical but stable condition in hospital after a single-vehicle collision outside Omagh, County Tyrone, on Saturday, March 14, 2026. The incident involved a black Volkswagen Golf leaving the Clanabogan Road shortly before 7:10 am.

Details of the Incident

According to the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI), officers responded to a report of the collision just before 7:10 am. The driver, a man in his late teens, was extracted from the vehicle and airlifted to hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

Inspector McGale of the PSNI stated that the man remains in a critical, but stable, condition.

Police Appeal for Information

Police are appealing for information from anyone who may have witnessed the collision. They are particularly interested in obtaining dashcam footage from vehicles that were in the area at the time.

Emergency Response
