Ocean Network Express Expands Latin America Service with Modern Port Calls

Singapore – Ocean Network Express (ONE) is expanding its network coverage between Asia and Latin America with enhancements to its West Coast South America (AX4) service and the launch of new services, including the Asia Latin America Express 4 (ALX4). These expansions aim to meet increasing capacity demands and provide customers with more comprehensive transportation solutions.

AX4 Service Enhancements

Effective April 2026, the AX4 service will include new port calls in both directions. Eastbound, the service will now include Qingdao, China, and Ensenada, Mexico. Westbound, the service will call at the port of Callao, Peru, and various ports in Ecuador [ONE Latin America]. This upgrade reinforces ONE’s commitment to strengthening its network across Latin America and Asia [Port Technology].

New Asia-Latin America Services

In addition to the AX4 enhancements, ONE has launched the Asia Latin America Express 4 (ALX4) shuttle service to address growing cargo volumes between Asia and Mexico’s West Coast [WOF Events]. The ALX4 service rotation includes Shanghai, Busan, and Lazaro Cardenas, offering a premium loop for North Asia to Mexico trade.

Surcharge Updates

ONE has announced updates to its ONE Bunker Surcharge (OBS) tariff, effective April 1, 2026. The tariff will be reviewed quarterly, with any changes communicated in advance [ONE Latin America]. Peru surcharges have been updated for all trade lanes and services, remaining in effect until further notice [ONE Latin America].
