Onelife Fitness Invests in Rockville and Germantown Gym Renovations

Onelife Fitness has announced significant renovations to its locations in Rockville and Germantown, Maryland, representing a combined investment of $5.5 million. A $2 million investment is planned for the 63,000 square foot Rockville facility located at 1407 Research Blvd, following a $3.5 million investment in the Germantown location at 20500 Seneca Meadows Parkway which began last month.

Rockville Gym Upgrades

The Rockville renovation will focus on enhancing the member experience with new equipment, redesigned training areas, and the introduction of two new training programs: HYROX Training and Strike Boxing. Onelife Fitness will develop into an official HYROX Training Club with the addition of this program. These additions reflect a growing demand for functional fitness and combat-inspired training options.

Further improvements to the Rockville location will include a dedicated recovery studio featuring HydroMassage, red light therapy, and Normatec compression therapy. The turf training area will be expanded, and the free weight floor will be upgraded. Updates are also planned for the boutique fitness studios used for group fitness, mind and body classes, and cycling.

Germantown Expansion

The Germantown location is also undergoing substantial renovations and expansion with a $3.5 million investment. Details regarding the specific upgrades at the Germantown location were not immediately available.

Both locations aim to provide a comprehensive fitness experience, offering amenities such as cardio and strength equipment, group fitness classes, and potentially childcare services (contact the Rockville location for Kids Club hours).
