Grainger Hiring On-Site Service Representative in San Jose/Cupertino Area
W.W. Grainger, Inc., a leading broad-line distributor of maintenance, repair, and operating (MRO) products and services, is currently seeking a part-time On-Site Service Representative to support customers in the San Jose/Cupertino, California area. This role, requiring a minimum of 30 hours per week, focuses on inventory management, customer service, and driving account growth through Grainger’s KeepStock program.

Responsibilities
- Service multiple customer locations.
- Receive and stock purchased products in designated customer locations, maintaining stocking levels by scanning for ordering purposes.
- Resolve customer problems to retain and promote customer loyalty.
- Follow a designated route defined by routing software and maintain route guides.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in productivity, process, and cycle time.
- Comply with safety and inspection requirements of customer facilities.
- Create new orders by engaging with customers to identify additional product needs.
- Proactively identify customer needs during site visits and collaborate with sales partners to expand Grainger’s offerings.
Qualifications
- 3 years’ experience in a selling or service environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift 25 to 60lbs and work in hard positions.
- Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle technical and operational issues.
- Valid driver’s license and required levels of automobile insurance.
Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated base pay for this position ranges from $25.00 to $37.50 per hour. Eligible employees may also receive an incentive target based on individual and company performance.
