Anika not only needs action in her life, but also variety. In addition to her work as a social worker in child and youth welfare, she also does a lot of yoga to balance things out. She also loves journaling and manifestation. On her 2025 vision board, which captures the year’s dreams and goals, she had pasted a picture of a model with no hair.

An illness as the cause
Anika has suffered from an autoimmune disease since she was a child. “When I was a little girl, I was diagnosed with alopecia areata. That was when I was seven years old. I had circular hair loss.” Of course, as a young girl, the diagnosis wasn’t easy.
But over the years, Anika learned to deal with it. “I now see it as very positive and love myself as I am. I don’t hide,” says the 27-year-old in an interview.
For me, hair is an accessory.
In any case, the woman from Pulheim doesn’t think much in front of the mirror anymore: “That’s just me now and I’ve accepted that.”
Heidi Klum as a great role model
With “Germany’s Next Top Model” the 27-year-old can not only realize her long-awaited dream, but also meet her role model Heidi Klum. For Anika, Heidi stands above all for individuality and diversity in the fashion world. Exactly what Anika would like to convey. By taking part, she wants to show the courage to stand up for herself: “Because I want to show that true beauty lies in one’s own strength and self-love.”
Anika fights for her goals
The 27-year-old is ambitious and constantly wants to surpass herself. Her dream job is, on the one hand, a campaign for wigs: “I want to show how versatile beauty can be – even without hair.” Above all, she wants to symbolize self-confidence, individuality and freedom.
On the other hand, she really wants to walk on a high fashion catwalk in haute couture. She sees herself as an edgy model who exudes incredible strength, depth and character – qualities that are essential in the world of haute couture.
Since Anika wants to fight for her dreams, she can use “Germany’s Next Top Model” as a springboard for her future career!
