Oppo Find X10 Series to Feature Tianma Tiangong Screen 2.0 OLED Panel

The upcoming Oppo Find X10 smartphone series will incorporate Tianma’s new Tiangong Screen 2.0 OLED panel, featuring advanced eye-protection technology and improved low-brightness performance, according to reports from GSMArena and Gizmochina. Unveiled at Tianma’s OLED technology event in Xiamen, the second-generation panel redesigns primary-color light-emitting materials to target reduced blue light exposure and enhanced visual consistency.

Tianma Tiangong Screen 2.0 Material Upgrades

According to Gizmochina, the Tiangong Screen 2.0 panel utilizes Tianma’s N1 primary-color spectrum material, altering the red, green, and blue components of the OLED spectrum. For the blue spectrum, the display applies NFB fluorescent blue technology, which increases luminous efficiency by 16% and extends material lifespan by 33% while reducing harmful blue light. The green component relies on PSF phosphorescence technology to boost luminous efficiency by 11% and expand the green color gamut by 6.7%. Meanwhile, the red component uses DRT deep red light technology, developed after testing nearly 100 deep red materials across roughly 700 comparison sets.

These material adjustments alter the output spectrum of the display. Gizmochina reports that harmful blue light accounts for 3.7% of the spectrum, whereas deep red light in the 650nm to 670nm range reaches 5.5%. The panel delivers a native 95% coverage of the BT.2020 color gamut alongside a Delta E value below 0.6 for color accuracy.

Low-Brightness Performance and Visual Uniformity

For low-light viewing conditions, the Tiangong Screen 2.0 integrates Tianma’s AI De-Mura algorithm. According to Gizmochina, this algorithm enhances low-brightness uniformity by 30% and allows the panel to operate at a floor of 0.01 nits while retaining color and brightness consistency. Modifications to the Thin-Film Transistor (TFT) backplane further support overall panel uniformity.

The new display follows previous iterations by Oppo, which included a 1-nit low-light display on the Find X9 series, as noted by Gizmochina. While the Find X10 series is anticipated to debut in September, Oppo has not yet disclosed complete display specifications such as screen size, resolution, refresh rate, or peak brightness levels.
