OPPO and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) have announced the 2026 OPPO Hyper Legend Cup x MLBB Campus Series, a university-focused esports tournament designed to foster the next generation of champions in Southeast Asia. The competition, open to students from Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Singapore, features a total prize pool of USD 100,000, alongside 1,200,000 MLBB Diamonds and exclusive OPPO merchandise.
Tournament Structure and Registration
The OPPO Hyper Legend Cup x MLBB Campus Series will unfold in three stages: National Qualifiers, National Finals, and the Cross-National Finals. Registration is open from February 16th to March 2nd, 2026. Teams must consist of 5 or 6 players, all of the same nationality, though they are not required to be from the same institution. Participants must be 18 years or older, or recent alumni who graduated within the past two years.

Path to the Cross-National Finals
The top two teams from each country will advance to the Cross-National Finals, which will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from April 16th to 19th, 2026. In Malaysia, the winning team from the MSL Season 6 will automatically secure a slot in the Cross-National Finals through the MSLC program. The ultimate showdown will pit the best university teams from across the region against each other for national pride and international glory.

This year’s tournament builds upon the legacy of the 2025 OPPO Smooth Legend Cup, marking a strategic shift towards focusing on the campus ecosystem. The collaboration between OPPO and MOONTON Games aims to strengthen collegiate esports across Southeast Asia by providing a structured pathway for student players and recent graduates to compete at a regional level. This initiative is part of MLBB’s Golden Month campaign, designed to deliver large-scale gaming celebrations and community experiences.

The tournament will be supported by the OPPO Reno15 Series, which offers a smooth and responsive gaming experience with up to 120FPS performance. This is intended to provide players with a competitive edge through precise hero movement and fluid skill animations.
