After the success of January 2025, the association of Friends of the Organs of Avrillé (AOA) is offering the 2nd edition of the Crazy Week of the Avrillé Organ, in the presence of the Gulliver mobile pipe organ.

The concert program of the Scènefonia symphony orchestra conducted by Jean-Jo Roux and accompanied on the Gulliver organ by Régis Prud’homme will be particularly varied. The program will be as follows:

Concert program:

Boellmann’s Gothic Suite (orchestra and organ)

Rheinberger Pastoral (violin and organ)

Concerto in G major by Carl Philipp Emmanuel Bach

Deas by Jean-Jo Roux – Creation

Finale of the symphony 3 for organ by Camille Saint-Saëns

The conductor, Jean-Jo Roux, associate professor of music and composer, created several vocal ensembles: the Erik Satie choir from Angers and the Ligeralis ensemble from Avrillé, then created the Anjou-Chorales festival.

He gave life to the Lycée David d’Angers Symphony Orchestra (OLDA), the International Youth Orchestra Academy (Cap d’Ail-Monaco), before creating the Angers “Scènefonia” symphony orchestra.

Passionate about music, Jean-Jo Roux is always looking for new artistic adventures. Regularly composing for Scènefonia, the opera “Les amants de Galerne” (2015) and the Song of Songs (2023) are among his most notable recent works. He also hosts a musical program “une vie, des musiques” on the RCF radio station on Sunday mornings.

Régis Prud’homme, the organist, won the Grand Prix Jean-Louis Florentz from the Academy of Fine Arts in 2005.

In January 2009, he was appointed substitute for Henri-Franck Beaupérin at the grand Cavaillé-Coll / Beuchet Debierre organ of Angers Cathedral.

He is one of the founding members of Inspiration Orgue. Created in 2015, this association aims to promote the organ in Maine-et-Loire, particularly in Beaufort-en-Anjou. He has been its president since the end of 2016.

Régis Prud’homme recorded his first album “Dupré / Duruflé” in 2016 on the grand organ of Angers Cathedral.

In March 2018, he was appointed titular organist of the Cavaillé-Coll / Beuchet-Debierre grand organ of Angers Cathedral.
