OSF HealthCare Breaks Ground on New Brimfield Primary Care Clinic

Construction began on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, on a new OSF Medical Group primary care clinic in Brimfield, Illinois. The facility, located at the southeast corner of U.S. Route 150 and Maher Road, just north of the Interstate 74 interchange, will replace the existing clinic on Knoxville Street and offer expanded services to the community.

Investment in Brimfield’s Future

The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by representatives from OSF HealthCare and local community stakeholders. Dr. Robert Bevill, a family medicine physician who has practiced at the current OSF HealthCare Brimfield clinic for 38 years, emphasized the significance of the new clinic.

“Getting a new health care clinic for the community of Brimfield is a huge step forward,” said Dr. Bevill. “It’s more than just a new building, however. It’s an investment in the people and the families of Brimfield.”

Enhanced Services and Accessibility

The new clinic is designed to address the growing healthcare needs of the area and attract new physicians. According to Dr. Bevill, the improved facility will make it easier to provide state-of-the-art care and attract younger physicians to the area.

Key features of the new clinic will include:

• A more spacious and welcoming environment
• A ground-level entrance for improved accessibility
• A dedicated room for skin procedures and minor surgical procedures
• A room dedicated to physical therapy services

Land Donation and Construction Timeline

Planning for the new clinic began two years ago, following a land donation from the Kress family. Rita Kress also contributed funding towards the construction of the new facility.

While a specific opening date has not yet been announced, construction is expected to continue throughout the year.
