Osstem Implant announced on the 8th that on the 4th, the dental education research institute ‘Kyobo Redevelopment Laboratory’ obtained the ‘Safety Management Excellent Laboratory Certification’ hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT.
This certification is being implemented to strengthen the safety management capabilities of science and technology laboratories and to discover and disseminate standard models.
Kyobo Redevelopment Laboratory is a facility built by Osstem Implant to support dental clinical development, and is equipped with a practice model and environment close to dental clinical practice and extensive patient data. We focus on maximizing the effectiveness of education, such as conducting mock surgeries and developing simulation models that are no different from the real thing.
Osstem Implant is leading the development of dental clinical practice through high-quality standard textbooks and training materials that incorporate long-term educational know-how, faculty comprised of top clinical experts, and an education system that encompasses both online and offline. The Osstem Implant Training Center (OIC) was established in 2002, and by the end of 2025, a total of 140,000 domestic and foreign dentists have completed the Osstem Implant training course.
Osstem Implant Dental Research Institute Director In-ho Cho said, “During the process of preparing for and obtaining certification, we identified the level of the laboratory’s stable environment and set a direction for continuous maintenance and improvement. Going forward, we will strive to develop teaching materials that will contribute to the development of dental clinical practice in a safer and more systematic research environment and provide practical help to students’ learning.”
