Accessing the Sales Agent
The Sales Agent is accessible through the Copilot entry point within the Outlook mobile app, provided users have the necessary access to both the Sales Agent and a compatible CRM system.

Sales Agent Beyond Outlook Mobile
The Sales Agent is also available within Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat, accessible through Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Dynamics 365. However, the embedded experiences within these applications currently offer only conversational chat capabilities. In Microsoft Teams, the Sales Agent can assist with meeting preparation and generate recaps with suggested next steps.
Accessing the Sales Agent in Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat
To access the Sales Agent through Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat, open the chat and select “Sales” under the Agents section. You can also @mention the agent directly within the chat interface. Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat will request permission to share information with the Sales Agent service, which requires user acceptance to proceed.
Copilot for Sales: A Broader Perspective
Originally announced in 2023, Copilot for Sales (now referred to as Sales Agent) is available to all users with a Microsoft 365 Copilot license. It assists sellers by summarizing email threads, drafting responses, and providing follow-up reminders.
