Pacific University Basketball Players Shine in CSC Academic All-District Selections
Eight student-athletes from Pacific University’s men’s and women’s basketball teams have been honored by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) as Academic All-District selections for the 2025-26 season. This recognition celebrates their dedication both on the court and in the classroom.
Women’s Basketball Honorees
Representing the Pacific women’s basketball team are Ava Cook, Lindsay Barden, Sydney Esperanza and Brookelynn Burke. These players have demonstrated a commitment to academic excellence alongside their athletic achievements.
Men’s Basketball Honorees
On the men’s side, Anthony Hrboka, Max Vacco, Romyn Johnson, and Ryder Mackay earned the distinction. Their selection highlights the strong academic performance within the Pacific men’s basketball program.
CSC Academic All-District Criteria
The CSC Academic All-District teams recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletics and academics. To be eligible, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher through the final full academic term and be a starter or key reserve on their team. College Sports Communicators is dedicated to educating, advocating, and communicating with and for the intercollegiate athletics communications community.
What’s Next?
These student-athletes will now be considered for the CSC Academic All-America® honors, which are announced separately for NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
