Security forces in Pakistan have killed thirteen individuals identified as Khwarij militants, allegedly linked to an Indian proxy network, in a series of operations across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. According to a statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), five Khwarij militants were killed in an operation in Bajaur District following an intense exchange of fire. In separate encounters in Bannu and Dera Ismail Khan Districts, three militants belonging to the “Indian Proxy Fitna Al Khwarij” were neutralized . Simultaneously, five more militants were neutralized in engagements in Khyber and South Waziristan Districts.

Security forces recovered weapons and ammunition from the militants, who were reportedly involved in numerous terrorist activities in the region. Sanitization operations are underway to locate and eliminate any remaining militants.
