Pakistan Security Forces Kill 13 Terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Operations

Security forces in Pakistan have killed thirteen individuals identified as Khwarij militants, allegedly linked to an Indian proxy network, in a series of operations across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The operations, described as intelligence-driven and part of a relentless counter-terrorism campaign, took place in multiple districts including Bajaur, Bannu, Dera Ismail Khan, Khyber, and South Waziristan.

Details of the Operations

According to a statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), five Khwarij militants were killed in an operation in Bajaur District following an intense exchange of fire. In separate encounters in Bannu and Dera Ismail Khan Districts, three militants belonging to the “Indian Proxy Fitna Al Khwarij” were neutralized . Simultaneously, five more militants were neutralized in engagements in Khyber and South Waziristan Districts.

Weapons and Ammunition Recovered

Security forces recovered weapons and ammunition from the militants, who were reportedly involved in numerous terrorist activities in the region. Sanitization operations are underway to locate and eliminate any remaining militants.

These operations are occurring as Pakistan addresses ongoing security challenges along its border with Afghanistan. Authorities report continued attempts by groups to infiltrate through the Pak-Afghan border .
