Witness Mohammad Tahir described how neighbors rushed to the scene immediately after the collapse, using shovels and their bare hands to dig through debris. “We also pulled children from the rubble, but many could not be saved,” he said.

Mohammad Ashfaq, a laborer who lost his 7-year-old son and nephew in the collapse, described his anguish. “I cannot express my pain and grief in words,” he said. Muhammad Farooq, who lost his daughter, recounted how she had attended the tutoring class just hours before the disaster. “Around 4:45 p.m., my family called me and said the roof of the tuition center had collapsed,” he said.
