Panama’s Carnaval 2026 Promises a Lavish Celebration

Panama is gearing up for a spectacular Carnaval 2026, kicking off this Friday with festivities across the country. The event, known as Carnaval 2026, promises five consecutive days of musical performances and entertainment, aiming to restore the capital’s celebratory splendor.

Festival Highlights at Cinta Costera

The heart of the celebrations will be at the Cinta Costera, where three stages have been strategically positioned to accommodate thousands of attendees. The festival, organized by the Municipality of Panama, will feature a blend of national and international artists. The event is free to the public.

The lineup for the Festival Carnavalístico Volumen Caribe includes:

• Friday: Samy y Sandra Sandoval, Mr. Saik, Don Pablo Mures
• Saturday: Mauricio Silva, Ulpiano Vergara Jr., Ranks Akim
• Sunday: Max Torres, Alejandro Torres, BCA Barbel Valentino

The festival begins at 8:00 P.M. On Friday, February 13th, and continues through Tuesday, February 17th.

Culecos and Family Fun

Traditional “culecos” – water-splashing street parties – will grab place at the Cinta Costera from 10:00 a.m. To 4:00 p.m., offering a refreshing experience under the Panamanian sun. A dedicated children’s area with amusement park rides will be open from 5:00 p.m. To midnight, ensuring entertainment for all ages.

A Blend of Genres

The musical programming encompasses a diverse range of genres, including salsa, merengue, urban music, and traditional Panamanian sounds. The Latin Stage will feature artists like Lefty Pérez and Son Salsas, while the Star PTY Stage will host performers such as Don Pablo Mures and Farah.
