Hungarian tennis player Panna Udvardy has announced she will launch a profile on OnlyFans, a subscription-based platform, shortly after revealing she received threatening messages related to a match outcome. The 27-year-traditional made the announcement after competing at a WTA 125 event in Antalya, Turkey.

During the Antalya event in March, Udvardy disclosed receiving WhatsApp messages from an anonymous sender threatening harm to her family if she did not lose a specific match. Such incidents, particularly those linked to betting, are not uncommon in tennis, but the explicit nature of the threats highlighted the vulnerability of players outside the sport’s highest financial tiers.
A Shift in Public Image and Control
Udvardy framed her decision to join OnlyFans not as a reaction to the threats, but as a way to expand her public image and share more of her life outside of tennis. “Most of you realize me from the tennis court only. But my life is so much more than that. I want to share it,” she stated in an Instagram post. She intends to share her travels, training routines, and both the glamorous and everyday moments of her life, emphasizing authenticity and freedom in her communication with fans.

Udvardy is among a growing number of WTA players utilizing subscription-based platforms.
