Park Ji-hoon Dominates Rising Actor Brand Reputation Rankings

Even as the film The Man Who Lived with the King continues its success at the Korean box office, surpassing 10 million viewers, lead actor Park Ji-hoon has solidified his position as a rising star by achieving first place in the Rising Actor Brand Reputation ranking.

According to an analysis of big data on rising actor brand reputation released in March 2026 by the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, Park Ji-hoon topped the list, significantly outpacing Yoon Kyung-ho in second place and Park Shin-hye in third. The institute attributes Park Ji-hoon’s success to the “syndrome” created by The Man Who Lives with the King.

The ranking was determined by combining participation index, media index, communication index, and community index, with overall brand big data for rising actors showing a substantial increase compared to the previous month. Director Koo Chang-hwan noted that all indicators – brand consumption, issues, communication, and diffusion – rose consistently.

Other Rising Stars Recognized

Yoon Kyung-ho secured second place, gaining attention for his appearances in episodic talk content. Park Shin-hye maintained her position in third place, continuing to resonate with audiences as the lead in the drama Undercover Miss Hong. Go Yoon-jeong ranked fourth, showcasing a versatile acting range, while Ju Ji-hoon took fifth place, benefiting from his engaging personality in entertainment programs.

Continued Success Anticipated

With The Man Who Lives with the King maintaining its box office momentum, Park Ji-hoon’s popularity is expected to continue. The film has surpassed 9 million admissions and is scheduled for international release, including in the United States, Canada, Australia, Taiwan, and New Zealand. The film was also officially invited to the main competition section of the 28th Udine Far East Film Festival, opening in April 2026.

Park Ji-hoon’s rising brand reputation was further confirmed by the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, which ranked him No. 1 in its February 2026 rising star brand reputation list. He is also set to appear in the TVING original series Becoming a Legend as a Cook Soldier and a reunion program featuring the members of Wanna One.
