The Teatro Solís presents El teatro, an original work written and directed by French playwright and director Pascal Rambert. The production marks the institutional farewell of Alejandra Wolff from the stable cast of the Comedia Nacional after nearly three decades in the institution.

Performance Schedule and Ticket Information
Preview performances are scheduled for October 2 and October 3 as benefit shows for the Fundación Amigos del Teatro Solís. The official premiere takes place on October 9 as part of the Festival Internacional de Artes Escénicas (FIDAE). Following the opening, the production runs from October 22 to November 22, with performances Thursday through Saturday at 20:00 h and Sundays at 19:00 h on the Main Stage of the Teatro Solís. Tickets are available through Tickantel, Redpagos, Abitab, and the theater box office, with standard general admission priced at $600 and Thursday tickets at $400. The venue offers free admission policies on designated days for patrons over 60 and under 21, alongside various community discounts including a 20% reduction for FUCVAM and Samsung Members, and 2×1 promotions through Comunidad La Diaria and Club El País.
Inside Pascal Rambert’s Theater Project
El teatro centers on an ensemble cast during the hours leading up to a major celebration, exploring unexpressed grievances, past romances, and wounds amidst preparations for tributes and farewells. The play is part of the broader Theater Project that Rambert has developed since 2018 alongside international institutions such as the Comédie-Française, the Teatro Nacional D. Maria II of Portugal, the Teatro Alemán Estatal de Timișoara in Romania, and the Croatian National Theatre Ivan pl. Zajc in Rijeka. In each creation, Rambert gathers a company around a celebration to build an original narrative exploring collective history.

The text is translated by Laura Pouso.
