Mary Patricia “Pat” Adams (1948-2026): A Life of Love, Service and Cinnamon Rolls

Mary Patricia “Pat” Adams, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 7, 2026, in Boise, Idaho. She was 76 years old. Her life was defined by a deep love for her family, a dedication to service, and a talent for bringing joy to others through her baking and crafting.

Early Life and Family

Born on September 13, 1948, to William Ray and Coradell Warner, Pat grew up with a strong sense of family and community. She married Mikeal Adams in 1971, and together they shared 55 years of love and companionship. She is survived by her husband, Mikeal Adams, of Boise, ID.

A Legacy of Kindness and Creativity

Pat’s kindness was evident in all aspects of her life. She found joy in serving others, a passion she expressed through her many callings within The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her culinary skills were legendary, particularly her cinnamon rolls, which were a consistent sell-out at bake sales during her time working at the VA Medical Center in Spokane, Washington. Her dinner rolls were a cherished tradition at family gatherings.

Beyond the kitchen, Pat was a talented seamstress. Initially creating clothes for her children, she later turned her attention to sewing doll clothes, blankets, and elaborate doll tents, delighting countless young girls. Christmas held a special place in her heart, and her home was always beautifully decorated for the season.

Family and Remembrance

Pat is survived by her son, Mikeal Adams (Leticia) of Los Angeles; two daughters, Gianna Warner (Ben) and Deena Hess of Boise; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her brother, Ricy Warner (Loretta) of Clayton, WA; and her sister, Raydeen Connell (Tom) of White Springs, FL. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Wayne Warner and Wesley Warner, and her sister, Jeanneen Carlson-Gharst.

Funeral Service

A funeral service to celebrate Pat’s life will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, March 20, 2026, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 8620 W Goddard Rd, Boise, ID 83704. The service will be livestreamed at https://zeyerfuneralchapel.com/obituaries/mary-adams-2026. Burial will follow at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery in Boise, ID. Services are being provided by Zeyer Funeral Chapel.
