Arizona State women’s golf finished sixth overall at the Windy City Collegiate Classic, posting a team score of 21-over 873 at Lake Shore Country Club in Glencoe, Illinois. Fifth-year golfer Patience Rhodes and freshman Natalia Aparicio both earned top-10 individual finishes to lead the Sun Devils through difficult course conditions.

Rhodes carded a 2-under 69 on the final day to finish at 3-over 216 for the tournament. Her closing round featured three birdies and an opening stretch of 12 holes at par or better, marking the fourth-lowest score of the day. The performance gave the two-time All-American her 16th career top-10 finish and her seventh in her last nine starts dating back to the start of the 2025 season. Aparicio matched Rhodes at 3-over 216, securing her first career top-10 finish with rounds of 71, 69, and 76.

Associate Head Coach Ryan Heisey pointed to the demanding weather and course setup as a valuable early-season test for the roster. “The Girls battled hard with a long day yesterday. Today they battled just as hard,” Heisey said. “It was a great opportunity to play in difficult conditions this early in the season, it really gave us a good test to see where we’re at. See what we need to improve and get ready for the next event.”

Behind Rhodes and Aparicio, the remaining Arizona State scorecard featured Fai Rubrong tying for 24th at 6-over 219, Amelia Wan tying for 42nd at 12-over 225, competing individual Johanna Axelsen tying for 47th at 14-over 227, and Kate Dillon tying for 51st at 15-over 228.
