Radio Host Patrick Hezuck Dies

Petr Říbal faced a difficult task on Friday afternoon,announcing the death of Patrick Hezuck to listeners live. “Patrick, I still believed in a Christmas miracle. This was the hardest broadcast of my life. I was entirely in a fog for those two hours,” Říbal shared on social media.

katka Říhová, a presenter on the Morning Show, expressed deep respect and admiration. “He was my lifelong mentor, teacher, beloved neighbor, colleague, and above all, friend. My heart is broken. He always gave people a second chance, and it’s devastating he’s gone. Happy flight, Paťáčka,” Říhová wrote.

Lucie Bechynková remembered Hezuck with a photo from a past Christmas broadcast. “When I was on air with you, you always brought coffee and a snack in a paper bag. You brought a calmness that you radiated, and a humor that generations grew up with – including me. I’m thinking of his family, Nikolka and Oliverka, and all who loved him. He left behind a remarkable legacy; few in radio can say the same. He was a legend, and he’ll remain one,” Bechynková recalled.
