Producers Guild Awards 2026: ‘One Battle After Another’ Takes Top Prize
Los Angeles, CA – The Producers Guild of America (PGA) hosted the 37th Annual Producers Guild Awards on March 1, 2026, at The Fairmont Century Plaza in Century City, celebrating outstanding achievements in producing for both film and television. The evening also honored influential producers and entertainment icons with special awards.
‘One Battle After Another’ Wins Top Honor
“One Battle After Another” secured the Darryl F. Zanuck Award for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Picture, solidifying its position as a frontrunner in the awards season leading up to the Academy Awards on March 15. Director-producer Paul Thomas Anderson delivered an emotional tribute to Michael De Luca and Pam Abdy, the leaders of Warner Bros. Pictures, acknowledging the challenges faced by the studio amidst its parent company’s sale.
Special Honorees
The ceremony recognized several industry leaders with prestigious awards:
- Amy Pascal received the David O. Selznick Achievement Award in Theatrical Motion Pictures.
- Jason Blum was presented with the Milestone Award for his contributions to film production, particularly in the horror genre.
- Mara Brock Akil received the Norman Lear Achievement Award in Television.

Additional Highlights
Ike Barinholtz entertained the audience with a reading from “The Remarkably Hungry Manager,” a storybook illustrating the numerous challenges producers encounter. Comedian Gabe Gibbs performed a song emphasizing the importance of belief for producers.
