The highly anticipated Peaky Blinders sequel series is taking shape with Jamie Bell set to lead as Duke Shelby, the eldest son of Tommy Shelby. The new series, a collaboration between Netflix and the BBC, too welcomes Charlie Heaton, known for his role in Stranger Things, alongside Jessica Brown Findlay and Lashana Lynch.

Jamie Bell will be taking over the role of Duke Shelby, previously portrayed by Conrad Khan in the sixth season of the original series and Barry Keoghan in Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man. Filming is currently underway in and around Digbeth Loc. Studios in Birmingham. The production is the first commission following a new partnership between the BBC, West Midlands Combined Authority, and Create Central, backed by an annual £40 million investment in the West Midlands, as reported by BBC News. The series is produced by Banijay UK’s Kudos and Garrison Drama.
