Pembroke Pines Police Investigate Duck Killings
Pembroke Pines police are investigating a disturbing animal cruelty case after a video surfaced showing a man stepping on and killing multiple ducks in the city.
The incident was captured on camera August 30. It occurred in the area of University Drive and Northwest 13th Street, according to the Pembroke Pines Police Department. Investigators became aware of the footage on Thursday and confirmed that the suspect targeted multiple ducks.
A Department Condemns the Brutal Act
“The actions that are observed in the video are not only illegal, but also cruel,” the police department stated in a public release.
“Our department is actively investigating this matter. No crimes against persons or animals will be tolerated in our city.”
