Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide presented a meaningful episode on January 17,2026,featuring a returning star,championship announcements,and a tease for a major announcement from penta El Zero Miedo.
Penta El Zero Miedo made a surprise appearance at the show, despite not wrestling for AAA since 2024, and will be making a “special announcement” on the January 24th episode of Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide.He was originally scheduled to team with Rey Fenix against Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano at AAA Guerra De Titanes, but was replaced by Rey Mysterio after sustaining an injury during a match against Solo Sikoa on WWE’s RAW.
The January 17th episode also saw the return of Santos Escobar, who confronted El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr.While Wagner Jr. is scheduled to defend his AAA latin American Championship next Saturday, it remains unconfirmed whether Escobar will be his opponent.
