Philly McMahon and Wife Sarah Welcome Daughter Isabelle

Former Dublin GAA star Philly McMahon and his wife, Sarah Lacey, have announced the birth of their second child, a baby girl named Isabelle. The news was shared on social media on March 1, 2026, with heartwarming photos of the family.

A Growing Family

McMahon posted several images to Instagram, including a touching photo of himself carrying Isabelle through the hospital corridors. Another photo shows their eldest child, four-year-old Leannáin, gently embracing his new sister.

“Welcome to the world my beautiful daughter Isabelle. We are so lucky and grateful for this little gift,” McMahon wrote in his post. He also expressed gratitude to his wife, Sarah, and the staff at the Rotunda Hospital.

The couple, who met in 2013 at Dublin City University (DCU) and married in December 2019, welcomed their first child, Leannáin, in January 2022.
