Phrenetix to Open for Primal Fear on Baltic Tour

Lithuanian thrash metal band Phrenetix has been confirmed as the opening act for German power metal group Primal Fear’s upcoming Baltic tour. The tour kicks off on March 27th in Tallinn, Estonia, at Helitehas, followed by a performance at the Palladium in Riga, Latvia, on March 28th and concluding on March 29th at Loftas in Vilnius, Lithuania.

About Phrenetix

Formed in 2012, Phrenetix is fronted by Lina, the band’s vocalist, guitarist, and primary songwriter. Lina found her passion for performing at a young age, with her musical journey taking a pivotal turn after discovering Metallica. She honed her skills professionally at the Lithuanian Academy of Music.

The band, which too includes guitarists Paulius, bassist Daumants, and drummer Ģedimins, aims to blend the energy of a party atmosphere with a fresh take on classic metal music. They describe their sound as “fast, technical and unlimited, but at the same time melodic.”

Phrenetix has released two albums, “Fear” (2015) and “Exuviae” (2021), and is preparing to release an EP this year. They have previously toured Europe in 2023 and 2024 and have supported bands such as Testament and UDO, and performed at Wacken Open Air in 2018 and Bairrada Metalfest in 2023.

Primal Fear’s Baltic Debut in Riga

The Riga concert on March 28th will mark Primal Fear’s first performance in Latvia. The German power metal band, with nearly 30 years of experience and 15 studio albums, is expected to deliver a performance featuring “juicy guitar riffs, a galloping rhythm and the powerful vocals of soloist Ralf Schippers.”
