Understanding Your Florida KidCare Coverage

Florida KidCare provides affordable health coverage for children under age 19 who qualify. Your plan covers services when your child receives care from an in-network provider. Some services may require a small copay, but these are limited to a maximum of $10 per visit when applicable.

Florida KidCare automatically assigns your child to teh most appropriate program – Medicaid, MediKids, Florida Healthy Kids, or the Children’s Medical Services (CMS) Health plan – based on eligibility. While a plan is initially selected during enrollment, you may have opportunities to make changes during designated enrollment periods.
