Poco X8 Power: Xiaomi Launches Smartphone with Massive 10,000 mAh Battery

Xiaomi has officially launched the Poco X8 Power, introducing a high-capacity 10,000 mAh battery to its smartphone lineup alongside 100 W fast charging capabilities, according to reporting by Pisapapeles.

The newly unveiled device is built for extended autonomy, offering up to 29 hours of video playback, 45 hours of Instagram usage, or 29 days of standby time. Beyond powering its own hardware, the Poco X8 Power functions as a portable power bank, delivering up to 27 W of reverse charging to other compatible devices, as detailed by Pisapapeles.

Design and Durability Specifications

Despite housing a substantial 10,000 mAh energy cell, the smartphone maintains a profile measuring 8.65 mm in thickness and weighing 229 grams. The build incorporates a 120 Hz AMOLED display panel shielded by Gorilla Glass Victus 2. For environmental durability, the chassis carries an IP69K certification rating, which protects the device against demanding external conditions, according to product specifications reported by Pisapapeles.

Performance Hardware and Pricing

Under the hood, Xiaomi relies on the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 processor to manage daily tasks, balancing efficiency with steady performance rather than targeting ultra-high-tier processing benchmarks. Photography duties are handled by a 50-megapixel main rear camera sensor, though the manufacturer positions the phone around all-day power utility rather than advanced imaging capabilities.

According to Pisapapeles, the Poco X8 Power launches first in India with two distinct memory and storage configurations:

  • 8 GB RAM / 128 GB Storage: Priced at ₹32,999 (approximately $349 USD)
  • 8 GB RAM / 256 GB Storage: Priced at ₹35,999 (approximately $381 USD)

As of the initial release, Xiaomi has not confirmed official release schedules or pricing for international markets outside of India.
