ZEvent is a prominent, annual charity event in France that unites streamers and gamers to raise funds for various charitable organizations. Founded in 2016, it has grown into a significant fundraising initiative within the francophone world.
Origins and Founders
Created by Adrien Nougaret (ZeratoR) and Alexandre Dachary (Dach), ZEvent began as “Project Avengers” in March 2016 ZEvent Wikipedia. The initial goal was to bring together French streamers for a collective fundraising effort.
Evolution of Beneficiaries
Over the years, ZEvent has supported a diverse range of charities. Early editions benefited organizations such as Save the Children, the French Red Cross, Médecins Sans Frontières, the Pasteur Institute, Amnesty International, and Action Against Hunger ZEvent Wikipedia. Beginning with the 2022 edition, the focus shifted to environmental protection, supporting Sea Shepherd France, the League for the Protection of Birds, WWF France, and The SeaCleaners ZEvent Wikipedia. The 2024 edition focused on five associations fighting against poverty—Secours populaire français, Cop1 – Solidarités Étudiantes, Les Bureaux du Cœur, Solidarité Paysans, and Chapitre 2 ZEvent Wikipedia.

ZEvent has experienced substantial growth in both streamer participation and viewership. In its inaugural year, 2016, the event featured 16 streamers ZEvent Wikipedia. By 2024, this number had increased to 135 streamers ZEvent Wikipedia. Attendance peaked in 2021 with 1,030,209 viewers ZEvent Wikipedia, with significant viewership also recorded in 2022 (545,202 viewers) and 2020 (660,796 viewers) ZEvent Wikipedia.
